Welcome!
I have served on many interesting House Committees
such as the Joint Committee on Insurance, the
Joint Committee on Housing and the Joint
Committee on Steering and Policy. I have also been
the House Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Human
Services and Elderly Affairs and the House
Vice-Chair of the Joint Committee on Health Care. |

My time on those and other Committees was packed with
Committee hearings and pertinent legislative data. It
was very interesting and each was a great learning
experience.
The House Chamber has four divisions and each has
its own Chairman, appointed by the Speaker of the House.
I currently serve as the Chair of the Second Floor
Division. As the Floor Chair, I serve much in the
capacity of an Assistant Majority Leader.

My duties are to assist the Speaker in
gathering and disseminating information to the 160 House
Members. I enjoy this new role and especially enjoy
supporting newer House Members as they adjust to the
nuances of legislative life.
